Planar Gravity 1.0

Planar Gravity is identical to the Max 2.0 Wind/Gravity except that it effects are localized to the icon. Only particles that pass through the arrow and base are affected. Any particles that pass through the base up to the arrow are affected 100% and that pass through arrow the effect is decayed based on how far the particle is from the arrow. See Gravity.max for a sample.

Width - is the width of the icon
Length - is the length of the icon
Inner - is the inner effect restraint
Outer - is the outer effect restraint

Spherical Gravity 1.0

Planar Gravity is identical to the Max 2.0 Wind/Gravity except that it effects are localized to the icon. Only particles that pass through the inner and outer radius are effected. Any particle passing through the inner radius is 100% affected, any that pass through the outer are decayed based on distance. See Gravity.max for a sample.

Friction - slows the particles as it leaves the gravity modifier.
Basically it causes the particles to orbit tighter

Cylindrical Gravity 1.0

Cylindrical Gravity is a cylindrical gravity well. It allows you to do such effects as whirl pools and eddies. It works pretty much like all the other gravity modifiers except is has multiple forces that work on the particles.

Inward Str is how fast the particles are pulled towards the center of the cylinder
Downward Str is how fast the particles are pulled down the cylinder
Tangent Str is how fast the particles spin around the cylinder

Vortex causes the particles to pulled in ward faster based on how far down the cylinder they are. This causes the particle system to taper in as they reach the bottom

Friction bleeds off velocity causing the particles to orbit tighter around the cylinder

See Vortex1.max for a sample. Usually to create a vortex you need a high inward str, a small down ward strength, and large Outer radius. If your particles are still at the begining you might want to put a little tangent str to get them spinning and little friction tends to keep the particles from escaping.

Spiral Gravity works exactly like Cylindrical Gravity except it uses rotational forces instead of tangental forces which makes it slightly easier to control.
